7th house Libra Full Moon 1st/7th house 2pm Opposition to Chiron in Aries 3rd/9th house
Today we have quite a volatile setup. There is balance required to navigate these types of transits, as they affect our needs and the needs of those we love.
This is where the Sun in Aries in the 1st gets to shine his masculine energy and initiate closeness, care, and fairness within the feminine. As Jupiter sets up a square in the 4th, we must be mindful of old memory and past conditioning created within our family system, and the effect this has on how we navigate the frequency playing out at the moment.
This is the parental dynamic between the Sun and the Moon, the opposing sides of the masculine and feminine looking for balance. This is where, as children, our beliefs were formed. It is where we learned how to treat the other in relationship.
The Full Moon’s job is to bring things to a peak so we can see clearly what is ready for completion, especially the healing of old beliefs still controlling us in the name of being safe. Squares speak to internal struggle, and with Jupiter sitting in our basement, blowing everything up to be bigger than it is, it is not hard to see how quickly things can get out of control when wounds are triggered. The emotional charge is real, but so is the opportunity to respond differently.
So many people have been struggling of late. The reason for this is that the Universe is asking us to access the pain, sit in it, feel it, and resolve it instead of reacting from it and causing pain where love and pleasure should reign.
At around 2pm the chart shifts and the focus moves onto the 3rd/9th axis; this is Mercury and Jupiter’s domain. Mercury is the lower octave, or nature, of Jupiter. This highlights how our beliefs, thoughts, and expression were formed, and how we interact with others or respond to the inner challenge this opposition is activating.
Add the opposition from the Full Moon to Chiron in Aries, the wound we carry, with a Leo Ascendant, and we have a cocktail of dramatic reactions and wound-exposing energies that insist we become more aware of what is really playing out. This presents an opportunity to nurture the part of ourselves that is hurting so a higher expression can take charge.
If I were looking at this as a natal blueprint instead of a transit chart for the collective, I would be covering how this Chiron/Moon setup can create a family dynamic where the mother is extremely intuitive, sensitive, and either emotionally or physically unwell, wounding the child while also setting up programs around how chaotic life is. These are the children who can grow up believing they must heal others while suppressing their own pain because it is seen as weakness. These souls can become quite rigid, believing they must keep it all together and appear in control, when in fact they are internally conflicted. Third chakra issues, including digestive problems, can manifest as they struggle to digest their own emotions and the emotions of others.
This placement is one of the harder ones to work through. However, when it is worked through consciously, the ability to transcend into a higher state of awareness is available, making this one of the placements of the great healer and therapist.
